Documenting Leadership, Telling Our Story.

Image
When I first picked up a pen, I never imagined it would one day connect me to people building cities, changing lives, and shaping Lagos for the future. But here I am, standing with the leaders who carry the hopes of millions. Through the same vision that started with Apapa, I now had the privilege of meeting the Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe, a man of purpose, focus, and community spirit. We are working on a project close to my heart  writing books for all 20 Local Governments in Lagos State, documenting their first 100 days in office. Each story is more than a record; it is a heartbeat of progress, a window into how leadership meets reality, and how service becomes legacy. When I met Hon. Akindipe, I saw not just a leader, but a listener, one who believes in youth, creativity, and the power of storytelling. His words reminded me that leadership is not only about position, but about impact, what you build, how you serve, and t...

From Words to Action ✍🏾🤝

There are moments in life that remind you that every dream, every step, and every connection was never by accident. Through the power of words, I’ve seen doors open that I never even knocked on, and this one means a lot to me. Recently, I had the privilege of meeting the Local Government Chairman of Apapa, as part of a powerful project: Writing books for all 20 Local Governments in Lagos State, telling the story of their first 100 days in office, their challenges, their progress, their vision. This isn’t just writing to me; it’s purpose. It’s about documenting transformation, leadership, and history from the eyes of a new generation. And I couldn’t have made it here alone. I owe a deep and special thanks to my amazing book coach, Mrs. Josephine Oghenekevbe Ogufere, who believed in me long before the world did. Her guidance has shaped my growth as a writer, a creator, and a voice for impact. Through her mentorship, I’ve learned that writing isn’t just about putting words on ...

🔥 THE FRIEND WHO FEELS LIKE FAMILY 🤝

Image
Not everyone you meet becomes your friend. And not every friend becomes a brother. But some people walk into your life and turn ordinary moments into golden memories, that’s exactly who Israel Destiny is to me. He’s more than a friend, he’s a reflection of loyalty, creativity, and drive. When I’m with him, there’s this unexplainable energy, a mix of laughter, vision, and peace. He makes life lighter, brighter, and full of purpose. Israel isn’t just a dreamer, he’s a doer. He’s the author of “The Adventures of Etim,” a storyteller who creates worlds with his words. He’s a roboticist, someone who doesn’t just imagine the future, he builds it. From cars that move to machines that think, he’s constantly shaping ideas into reality. And as the Founder of Israel’s Farm, he’s proving that innovation and impact can grow from the same soil. We’ve shared ideas, laughter, and dreams, the kind that remind you that true friendship isn’t about how long you’ve known someone, but how deeply...

💭 THE STORY BEHIND THE CROWN 👑By Raji Ayomide Olaitan — King of Rhymes

Image
I was born with a story inside me, but for years, I didn’t know it was called “purpose.” I just knew that whenever life went quiet, my heart started to rhyme. I grew up in Ajegunle, a place full of noise, dreams, and raw survival,  a street where everyone learns early that life is not a movie, it’s a test. But somehow, in that chaos, I found rhythm. In the laughter, in the pain, in the daily struggle, I found words that spoke louder than my voice ever could. I started school at Govian Nursery and Primary School, where I first learned to write letters that would one day become verses. Later, at Oluwa Memorial Senior Secondary School, I learned that words can move people, that poetry isn’t just about rhymes, it’s about truth. But the journey hasn’t been easy. There were days I felt invisible, like my dreams were too big for my background, too wild for my age. There were nights when I wrote under the dim light of a small bulb, wondering if anyone would ever read what I had...

The Hands Behind the Crown By King of Rhymes 👑 (Raji Ayomide)

Image
Behind every voice that dares to speak truth, there’s someone who helped it find its sound. For me, that person is Josephine Oghenekevbe Ogufere, my book coach, my mentor, my mirror. There are people who enter your life for a season, and there are those who stay as blueprints  guiding your growth, shaping your vision, and reminding you that purpose isn’t something you chase, it’s something you become. When I first started writing, my words were raw, full of fire, but without direction. Josephine saw the flame, not the flaws. She didn’t just correct my sentences; she refined my spirit. She didn’t just teach me how to write better  she taught me how to think deeper. Every lesson, every word, every challenge she gave me built the foundation of who I am today  King of Rhymes wasn’t born from talent alone, but from the kind of mentorship that calls greatness out of hiding. She pushed me to believe that writing isn’t about fancy words or perfect grammar  it’s a...

WHAT IT MEANS TO CREATE FROM THE HEART By King of Rhymes 👑 (Raji Ayomide)

Creation is more than talent. It’s more than skill, trends, or applause. True creation begins where the heart speaks louder than the world. When you create from the heart, you stop chasing perfection, and start chasing purpose. Your art stops being a performance… and becomes a message. You stop writing just to impress, and start writing to express. I’ve learned that the greatest works don’t always come from comfort  they come from conviction. From the nights when your soul can’t stay silent. From the pain that turns into poetry, and the dreams that refuse to die quietly. Creating from the heart means being brave enough to be seen. It means putting pieces of your truth out there  knowing not everyone will understand, but the right people will feel it deeply. Art isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real. Because what touches the heart doesn’t need to be flawless it just needs to be honest. So whether you write, sing, draw, or speak, don’t create to fit in. Create to stan...

THE BOY WHO SPOKE IN RHYMES By King of Rhymes 👑

Image
Once upon a rhythm, there was a boy who didn’t speak like others. When people talked, he rhymed. When they asked him questions, he answered in verses. To him, every word had a melody, and every silence had a beat. They laughed at him sometimes, said he was strange, said he was “too deep.” But the boy knew something they didn’t: that the world listens differently when words dance. He wrote poems on walls, on notebooks, on his own hands when no paper was near. Not for fame, not for likes, but because words were his heartbeat. Each rhyme he spoke was a way to heal, a way to dream, a way to breathe. But one day, life got loud. Dreams grew quiet. And the boy, now a man, stopped rhyming. He worked, he hustled, he tried to fit in. The same world that once laughed at him now demanded silence. And for a while… he obeyed. Until one night, he found one of his old notebooks, dusty, forgotten, filled with words that burned brighter than fire. As he read them, something inside him cracke...

THE POWER OF STARTING AGAIN

Image
There’s something powerful about a fresh start. It’s not about forgetting the past, it’s about learning to rise from it. Starting again doesn’t mean you failed… it means you refused to stay down. I’ve learned that sometimes life has to pause you to prepare you. You think everything’s falling apart, but really, the pieces are just being rearranged. Growth doesn’t always look like progress, sometimes it looks like starting over. We live in a world that glorifies constant motion, always doing, always showing. But the real strength? It’s in the comeback. It’s in saying, “Yeah, I lost rhythm for a while, but the music never left me.” Every restart carries more wisdom than the first try. You don’t walk the same; you walk stronger. You don’t speak the same; your words have more weight. You don’t dream the same; your vision is sharper. Because the person who ...

🔥 AFTER THE SILENCE COMES FIRE 🔥

Image
They saw the silence. They thought it meant the end. But silence was never my weakness, it was my weapon. In the quiet, I rebuilt myself. In the shadows, I sharpened my pen. And now, every word I drop carries the weight of a thousand untold stories. Because sometimes, you have to lose your voice to learn how to speak with power. Sometimes you have to step back to understand what stepping forward truly means. This is not just poetry, this is transformation. Every line I write now burns with truth. Every thought, every rhyme, every verse  reborn from reflection. I’ve learned that creation doesn’t always happen in noise. It happens when the world goes quiet, and your soul becomes your stage. So to every dreamer out there  Don’t fear your silent seasons. That’s where your next masterpiece is growing. Keep your pen close. Keep your faith closer. A...

🔥 THE RETURN OF THE KING OF RHYMES 👑

Image
Poetic Prelude: “The Comeback” I vanished into silence — but silence taught me sound. I walked through stillness — but stillness taught me rhyme. I fell off the map — but never out of mind, ‘Cause a true King’s crown only glows brighter with time. Now I rise from the ink with a sharpened pen, A fire reborn, a message again. Tell the kingdom — the throne still stands, The King of Rhymes has returned to his land. ✍🏽👑 The Story of the Return They say time changes everything — and they’re right. But one thing time couldn’t change was the fire in my soul. For a while, this blog went quiet. The words rested, the rhythm slept, and even the King needed a break. Not to quit — but to grow. I’ve been behind the scenes, learning, creating, building visions too deep for quick rhymes. But every day, my heart whispered — “You still belong here. The world still needs your voice.” And now, that whisper has become a roar. This isn’t just a return. It’s a resurrection. The rebirth of passio...
